For six months Americans have been paying the cost of war with Iran. Abroad, that has meant 777 Americans wounded or killed, and at home it’s meant six months of skyrocketing prices at the pump and six months of working families struggling to stay afloat.
That’s why American Bridge 21st Century is launching an interactive microsite that tracks the additional fuel costs American households are stuck paying because of Trump’s war with Iran.
“Six months into this conflict, Republicans have only offered excuses, while they rubber-stamp Trump’s agenda that is taking dollars directly out of our pockets,” said American Bridge President Pat Dennis. “Trump and the Republicans who empower him have made clear they don’t care what this war is costing us, in the lives of our soldiers and the quality of life of our citizens. In fact, most of them loudly support it. This tracker is a tool to show the public just how much they are paying thanks to the Republican majorities in Washington, and how much of their bank accounts are at stake this November.”
