AB21 Statement on Rob Portman’s Support for Trump
With Trump all but clinching the GOP nomination after winning the Indiana primary, American Bridge 21st Century President Jessica Mackler released the following statement on Senator Rob Portman’s position in the #PartyOfTrump:
“With John Kasich suspending his campaign today, Senator Rob Portman can no longer hide behind the governor while avoiding questions about his support of Trump. Sen. Portman sides with billionaires’ special interests over hard working families and joined Trump’s Supreme Court obstructionism early on. Ohioans should know that despite his posturing, Sen. Portman, like the rest of the Republican Party, is a member of the Party of Trump.”
