Voters realize that Republicans lied to them in 2024. The end result? “Safe” Republican seats are on shaky ground.
Today, American Bridge 21st Century is announcing the launch of their “The Shaky Eights” project— targeting incumbent Republicans in Congress in R+8 or similar districts.
“The Shaky Eights are weak candidates who think they’re safe from electoral backlash because they take their voters for granted. No seat is safe when you’re raising costs, gutting health care, and making life for American families completely unaffordable,” said American Bridge 21st Century President Pat Dennis. “American Bridge knows how weak these candidates really are— their corruption, self-dealing, self-enrichment, and disastrous anti-working class votes are just the tip of the iceberg. No one does oppo better than us, and this round of targets are just some of the latest to find that out— but they certainly won’t be the last.”
At launch, the program will target French Hill (AR-02), Abe Hamadeh (AZ-08), Tom McClintock (CA-05), Jay Obernolte (CA-23), Lauren Boebert (CO-04), Daniel Webster (FL-11), Victoria Spartz (IN-05), Andy Harris (MD-01), Virginia Foxx (NC-05), Addison McDowell (NC-06), Richard Hudson (NC-09), Brad Knott (NC-13), Tim Moore (NC-14), Stephanie Bice (OK-05), Andy Ogles (TN-05), Glenn Grothman (WI-06), and Tony Wied (WI-08).
