Ashley Hinson is trying to backtrack on her support for the Iran war after realizing again that this war is a “political liability” in more ways than one, but she can’t run from her record. That is why American Bridge 21st Century published a new video highlighting the fact that Hinson has been an outspoken champion of the conflict for months, even as Iowans suffered higher fuel prices as a result. Hinson defended the war time and again, while repeatedly dismissing Iowans’ concerns over rising costs and voting to continue the Iran war seven times.
“Ashley Hinson’s attempt to alter her stance on the Iran war doesn’t change the fact that Iowans have been struggling for months because of her support of the reckless conflict,” said American Bridge 21st Century Spokesperson Gus Nathanson. “She voted to continue the war seven times, and Iowans won’t forget that come Election Day.”
