Zero Credibility: Jared Keeps Getting Caught Lying

In his prepared remarks for the Senate Intelligence Committee, Jared Kushner claims, “I did not collude, nor know of anyone else in the campaign who colluded, with any foreign government. I had no improper contacts.”

But that is in itself demonstrably false. For starters: Kushner knew Don Jr. was looking for Kremlin-proffered dirt on Hillary Clinton, and he eagerly joined Junior and Paul Manafort when they took the meeting with the Russians, knowing, thanks to the email correspondence he was forwarded, that Putin and the Kremlin were pulling for Trump.

The reality is that Jared Kushner has repeatedly lied on his security clearance forms and personal financial disclosure filings — to the extent that nothing that Kushner says can be trusted or taken at face value:

Kushner “inadvertently omitted” upwards of $10 million in assets from his financial disclosures;
Kushner hid […]

Did Mike Pence Meet With Russia, Too? His Spokesman Keeps Dodging The Question

“The amnesia outbreak in the Trump administration concerning all things Russia has spread to Mike Pence. If Donald Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner are any indication, the next symptom will be a phony denial from Pence, followed by news of exactly what his spokesperson tried three times not to admit: the Vice President is just as complicit in this scandal as every other member of the Trump administration.” — Harrell Kirstein, American Bridge spokesperson

Newsweek: Did Mike Pence Meet With Russia, Too? His Spokesman Keeps Dodging The Question

BY JULIA GLUM ON 7/13/17 AT 10:09 AM

Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort joined an ever-expanding club this week of people who met with Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign but who claimed they did not when news broke that the trio met with a Russian lawyer last year in hopes of digging up dirt on Hillary Clinton. But […]

Independent Journal Review: Roger Stone Alleges That He Knows Who Is Behind the White House Leaks

By Adam Pribila, 7/12/17

Much speculation has been made regarding the role former Donald Trump presidential campaign adviser Roger Stone played in the various hacking and leaking scandals that plagued the 2016 election.

And now, Stone finds himself speculating on the recent leaks to come from the Trump White House.

At an event at the Capitol Hill Club for Young Republicans, Stone was questioned by a tracker from American Bridge, the Democratic opposition research shop.

Stone was asked: “Do you think it was someone in the White House, in the Republican Party, who leaked Don Jr.’s emails to the New York Times today?”

“Yes,” Stone replied.

“Do you have any idea who it might have been,” the woman asked in response.

“Yes,” Stone replied again.

When pressed to […]

American Bridge Statement on Donald Trump Jr.’s Emails

American Bridge President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

“Donald Trump Jr. today removed any doubt about collusion that occurred last year with Russian officials who attacked our democracy to help Trump’s campaign. His shocking admission clearly represents criminal behavior that must be prosecuted by federal authorities immediately. “Make no mistake: Jared Kushner is also implicated here and must be held accountable. Kushner played a central role in this scandal and yet is still employed in a senior role in the White House handling top secret information, despite evidence showing he too colluded with Russians last year. That cannot continue. Kushner’s security clearance must be revoked immediately and he should be shown the door today. He should not step foot anywhere near the White House in the future as he represents a clear risk to our country’s national security.

“Furthermore, it is impossible for a reasonable person to […]

Scandal Plagued Jared Kushner Should Resign, Not Represent U.S. Abroad

As Jared Kushner, presidential son-in law and Secretary of Everything, arrives in the Middle East today we are reminded that he is smack in the middle of the ongoing Russia investigation and has no place leading this important White House mission.  Today American Bridge is calling for his resignation once and for all.

“It is completely inappropriate for Jared Kushner to represent our country in trying to broker peace in the Middle East while he is marred by this scandal at home,” said American Bridge Rapid Response Director Emily Aden. “We know he is a major focus of the FBI investigation, he tried to set up a private back channel between the Trump transition team and Moscow, and lied repeatedly on his security clearance forms about meetings with Russian officials. He shouldn’t be representing us overseas, he ought to be submitting his resignation immediately.”

Kushners Continue To Sell Prospective Investors On Trump Access

“It’s no coincidence that Trump and his family, extended family members, and foreign business partners keep getting caught bragging about White House access. Donald Trump is a corrupt strongman-admirer who’s selling out the presidency to get rich at the expense of the American people.” –Shripal Shah, American Bridge Vice President

Bloomberg Politics: Touting Ties to Trump Is the Only Thing That Unites the Feuding Kushners

By David Kocieniewski, Wenxin Fan and David M. Levitt, May 31, 2017

Charles and Murray Kushner have been called the Cain and Abel of New Jersey real estate, feuding publicly for more than a decade through competing property empires. One thing now unites the brothers: Both have had projects promoted to Chinese investors by playing the White House card.

Charles is the father of Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser. His prolonged quarrel with Murray has sparked fraud allegations, newspaper comparisons to […]

The Three Takeaways From Kushner’s Ties to Russia

Memorial Day weekend brought a flurry of news about Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law, close adviser to Trump and Secretary of Everything, and his ties to the Russia scandal. In recent days we’ve learned that Kushner is facing scrutiny from the FBI as he becomes a major focus of the Russia investigation, and it was also reported that Kushner held a series of of previously undisclosed meetings with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak and Sergey Gorkov, the head of the Russian bank Vnesheconombank who is also close to Vladimir Putin. Kushner’s meetings took place at Trump Tower where Kushner also suggested setting up a private line of communication between the Trump transition team and Russia.

Despite all of this, Kushner remains in the White House with unfiltered access to the President.  That cannot continue, he must step down immediately.

Here are the three key takeaways from the ongoing scandal as they relate to […]

It’s Time For The Secretary Of Everything To Step Down

News reports last night confirmed what we already suspected: Jared Kushner is a focus of the Trump-Russia FBI investigation.

There is no one closer to President Trump than Jared Kushner. As son-in-law, top campaign adviser, and now senior White House official, Kushner has unfettered access to national security secrets and the shaping of both domestic and foreign policy.

“From brokering peace in the Middle East, to negotiating with China and Mexico, to overhauling the the federal bureaucracy and infrastructure- the President goes to Jared,” said American Bridge Rapid Response Director Emily Aden. “Kushner should never have had this much power in the first place, but the serious new questions raised by the FBI investigation make it untenable. It’s time for him to step down.”
