QUESTION: On the overall issue of privilege, will you be invoking privilege [on any documents that the White House may have relating to General Flynn]?

SPICER: We’re not, that, I am not at this time, to answer that question I don’t know the answer, there is nothing that would that I am responding to on that particular matter.

Flynn Broke the Law. Period.

“Michael Flynn broke the law and the White House refusing to release documents constitutes a cover up. This latest development only furthers the need for an independent commission to investigate this scandal to ensure accountability, transparency and most importantly, have the ability to subpoena important documents that the White House is trying to hide free from political considerations,” said American Bridge President Jessica Mackler.

Tough On Russia? Not Really.

American Bridge Vice President Shripal Shah released the following statement after Russia secretly deployed a cruise missile in violation of an arms control treaty that helped put an end to the Cold War:

“These actions taken under the direction of Vladimir Putin pose a significant threat to the surrounding region, NATO and its allies. Despite claims from White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer that “the President has been incredibly tough on Russia,” nothing could be further from the truth. The Trump administration’s unwillingness to stand up to Putin continues to present serious national security risks that cannot be overstated or further ignored.”

Spicer: Trump Knew At Least 3 Weeks Ago Flynn Had Discussed Sanctions With Russia

Sean Spicer today admitted Donald Trump knew at least three weeks ago that Mike Flynn talked to Russia about easing sanctions and then lied to Vice President Pence.

Rather than take action to fire Flynn or exclude him from classified briefings — despite knowing the Russians might have compromised Flynn or be blackmailing him — Trump didn’t do or say anything, except last week lie to the media about what he knew and when he knew it.
