American Bridge released the following statement on Cory Gardner’s faux-environmentalism after he appeared at an American Wind Energy Association event and was appointed the co-leader of the Roosevelt Conservation Caucus.
“Cory Gardner is paying lip service to environmental causes one day and voting to confirm a coal lobbyist to run the EPA the next,” said American Bridge spokesperson Amelia Penniman. “As Gardner continues to spout empty rhetoric on environmental issues, we’ll be there to remind Coloradans that he is no friend of the environment.”
