It’s Iowa State Fair weekend, and thanks to Republicans like Mariannette Miller-Meeks, it’s a really expensive one. We caught up with her today to remind her how Iowans feel about her vote to cut Medicaid, and her lying about it.
“Mariannette Miller-Meeks should have a lot of regrets, but we bet that ‘have an egg’ moment is high on her list. Hopefully her voting to cut Medicaid is higher,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke. “She thought she could vote to financially crush Iowa families and farmers, lie about it, and still prance around the state fair. We made sure she knows that she’ll be held accountable for all the families she’s priced out of healthcare and eggs.”
