POLITICO reported this week on American Bridge 21st Century’s launch of Research Books, a new public, AI-powered platform that makes opposition research on key Republican candidates easily accessible ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

As detailed in the report, Research Books is part of American Bridge’s expanded strategy to fulfill a fragmented media landscape. The platform houses research on dozens of GOP House, Senate, and statewide candidates in pivotal races, pairing traditional opposition research with AI tools that help users quickly understand a candidate’s record and vulnerabilities.

American Bridge President Pat Dennis told POLITICO the goal is to make research easy and accessible in real time, noting that “if people can’t find it or read it, it’s no good.”

The platform includes an AI-powered search agent that pulls exclusively from American Bridge’s verified research database and links users directly to original sources, while also allowing integration with tools like Claude and ChatGPT.

The launch of Research Books builds on American Bridge’s history of publicly releasing opposition research — including its 2020 release of more than 1,000 pages of research on Donald Trump — while marking a significant evolution in how opposition research is deployed and consumed heading into the 2026 midterms.
