Roger Marshall showed his constituents why he refuses to do town halls during Saturday’s Senate debate at the Kansas State Fair. Marshall endured a 90-minute barrage of attacks from his opponent on failed policies that are worsening the lives of his constituents, as well as a nonstop onslaught of heckles from Kansans in the crowd. Marshall was taken to town over a litany of issues like his support of tariffs, the Iran war, healthcare and SNAP cuts, the farm bill, his residence, the national debt, and more. The crowd also chimed in with frequent boos and chants of “shame on you” and “you don’t live here.”
“Roger Marshall was up against two opponents in Saturday’s debate: his challenger and the people of Kansas who know Marshall failed them,” said American Bridge 21st Century Spokesperson Gus Nathanson. “Kansans made their voices heard on Saturday, and they will do so again at the ballot box this November.”
