Last night, Jay Feely won the AZ-01 Republican primary to replace loser David Schweikert, joining the Arizona GOP’s stacked (derogatory) deck of candidates — Eli Crane, Abe Hamadeh, and Juan Ciscomani.
“The Republican slate in Arizona somehow got even more pathetic, so I guess congratulations to Jay Feely for that historic feat,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke. “Jay, Eli, Juan, and Abe are all running to do Trump’s bidding — raise prices, cut entitlements, enrich himself. In fact, Jay Feely is only running for office in the first district, which is not even in his home district, because Trump begged him to. He’s a pathetic man who joined a pathetic slate, and we’re looking forward to watching them lose.”
