Gov. Joe Lombardo finally admitted what Nevada families already know. In a recent KOLO ABC interview, Lombardo acknowledged that Trump’s policies have caused harm, saying, “I think in some aspects it may have caused some hurt.”
That “hurt” means higher costs, economic uncertainty, and jobs at risk for Nevada families.
Lombardo’s comments are the latest example of a governor who continues to stand by Donald Trump’s disastrous agenda while Nevada families pay the price. He has repeatedly defended failed policies that have driven up costs, tanked Nevada’s tourism economy, and put jobs at risk across the state. Instead of fighting for working families, he continues to back an agenda that has made life more expensive and has stripped millions of people of healthcare and food assistance.
Lombardo’s own words expose a governor who knows these policies are hurting Nevadans, but continues to support them anyway.
Nevadans deserve better than a leader who admits the damage and doubles down on it.
His shrug is a slap in the face to families working harder than ever just to get by.
