When Adam Hoffman was charged with child sex abuse, his initial sentence was 20 years to life. Ken Paxton offered him a plea deal involving only 30 days in jail. Paxton applauded DOGE for gutting critical federal programs, which included programs that monitored the spread of New World screwworm. Now, a screwworm outbreak in Texas is threatening a billion-dollar disaster for the state’s cattle industry. And instead of being in Texas, or America, even, on the 4th of July, Paxton was galavanting through Europe with his mistress.
“Ken Paxton is about as good for Texas as the screwworm outbreak,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Gus Nathanson. “Every decision he makes is morally reprehensible and worsens the lives of the very people he wants to represent in the Senate.”
