It’s now been just under a month since Steve Daines pulled a switcheroo and installed Kurt Alme as the GOP Senate candidate in Montana. In the meantime, Alme has avoided answering questions or doing many public events.
As Alme finally starts to do interviews and public events, American Bridge will send out notable clips highlighting his positions.
Appearing on the Scott Jennings Show today, Kurt Alme confirmed that he supports the war in Iran that’s harming Montanans. WATCH:
First, let me say I support the goals of the President here of trying to set back Iran’s nuclear intentions as far back as we can, as well as their ability to export terror around the country. So very pleased to see the president doing what he’s done to try to protect us by preemptively dealing with those problems. But I think we’re all, all of us in America, want to be sure that if ever we’re going to engage militarily around the world that we have a very compelling reason in our national interest to do so, and that we do it in a way where we know what our objectives are and we know we’re going to win.
Montanans are paying the price: Gas has jumped nearly a dollar a gallon since the war began, and farmers are getting squeezed as fertilizer disruptions drive up costs – crushing earnings and productivity.
