Donald Trump brings a $60 million national embarrassment to Washington for his 80th birthday this weekend, and today American Bridge 21st Century released a new video that highlights the problematic backgrounds of the fighters involved.
If it wasn’t outrageous enough to bring a brutal bloodsport to the lawn of the White House, Trump is also inviting fighters with histories of racism, misogyny, and abuse to star in the spectacle.
Josh Hokit:
- Used racial slurs to denigrate opponents.
- Called both Brittney Griner and Michelle Obama biological men.
- Doubled down on calling a Black opponent a gorilla.
Sean O’Malley:
- Defended cheating on his wife and credited the accused rapist and self-described misogynist, Andrew Tate, for his logic.
- Wore a surgical mask to mock his Chinese opponent, Song Yadong, who called it “totally racist.”
Ilia Topuria:
- Accused of domestic abuse by his ex-wife, forcing him to step away from the sport for over a year.
“Donald Trump turned the People’s House into the backdrop for his own birthday party, and it says everything about his distorted priorities,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Brandon Weathersby. “While families are paying more for groceries and gas, Trump is celebrating himself alongside racists and abusers.”
