Every single Republican senator and Senate candidate supported the One Big Beautiful Bill, and in the year since it’s passed, tens of millions of Americans have lost access to affordable healthcare and key assistance programs.
“Each and every Republican vying for a Senate seat championed this disastrous legislation that has been hurting everyday Americans for a year now,” said American Bridge 21st Century Spokesperson Gus Nathanson. “They need to be held accountable at the ballot box this November for that horrendous decision.”

ALASKA: Dan Sullivan voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill that cut Medicaid by $1 trillion over 10 years and put over 36,000 Alaskans at risk of losing health coverage.
GEORGIA: Mike Collins voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill, and despite promising that “every single American will benefit” from the bill, more than 500,000 Georgians could lose their health insurance as a result of Collins’ vote.
IOWA: Ashley Hinson voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill, and over 86,000 Iowans could lose their health insurance as a result of her vote. Hinson was met with a chorus of boos from upset Iowans when she touted the legislation and its cuts.
MAINE: Susan Collins cast a pivotal vote to advance the One Big Beautiful Bill. As a result, 40,000 Mainers are now at risk of losing their health insurance coverage.
MICHIGAN: Mike Rogers supported the One Big Beautiful Bill, which caused devastating cuts to Medicaid in Michigan, putting up to 700,000 Michiganders at risk of losing coverage.
MISSISSIPPI: Cindy Hyde-Smith voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill and praised the legislation. As a result, six rural Mississippi hospitals were at risk of closure and Mississippi hospitals were projected to lose $1 billion. 115,000 Mississippians are expected to lose their healthcare benefits and healthcare enrollment rates dropped by 8%.
NEW HAMPSHIRE: John E. Sununu said that he “certainly” supported Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill, would have voted for it, and stated the bill was “the right thing for New Hampshire.” He even claimed that it was a “lie” that people will lose health care as a result. In actuality, the Medicaid cuts in the bill were expected to cause up to 29,000 Granite Staters to lose health care.
NORTH CAROLINA: Michael Whatley supported the One Big Beautiful Bill which was estimated to kick 250,000 North Carolinians off of their health coverage. The legislation restricted North Carolina’s Medicaid expansion and put rural hospitals at risk.
OHIO: Jon Husted voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill, and despite claiming that the bill wouldn’t cut anyone’s benefits and that it was a “pro-family” bill, over 340,000 Ohioans could lose their health insurance as a result of his vote. If it were up to Husted, the cuts would’ve been deeper.
TEXAS: Ken Paxton supported the One Big Beautiful Bill that is estimated to kick nearly 300,000 Texans off their healthcare.
