Dean Heller is running scared — he hasn’t held a town hall in Nevada this year, and hasn’t held a public event in Nevada in weeks.
Instead of defending his embrace of Trump’s dangerous agenda, his staff has refused to even pick up the phone for concerned constituents. Last night Heller came out of hiding to talk to his constituents for the first time in weeks — in a telephone town hall that wasn’t publicly announced, where questions were screened and reporters weren’t invited. “There doesn’t appear to be any effort on the Senator’s part to let constituents know,” a constituent wrote on Facebook.
But judging by the people who were on the line, the results weren’t pretty:
