Six months ago today, the ACA expansion credits — which millions of families relied on — expired. Then, Republicans voted to gut them completely, doubling premiums and making healthcare completely unaffordable for their constituents.
How is that affecting Ohioans? Local news reported “more than 500,000 Ohioans received enhanced premium tax credits this year. Without those credits, the KFF report shows average monthly premiums could rise.”
“Ohioans have representatives in Washington who have betrayed them over, and over, and over again,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke. “The Republican agenda is clear — make things more expensive and take away necessities. That’s what these House Republicans did and continue to do every single day in Washington.”
Here are the Republicans responsible for making healthcare unaffordable for families:
- David Taylor (OH-02)
- Jim Jordan (OH-04)
- Bob Latta (OH-05)
- Michael Rulli (OH-06)
- Warren Davidson (OH-08)
- Mike Turner (OH-10)
- Troy Balderson (OH-12)
