Mike Collins has won the Georgia Republican Senate primary, making the Republican nominee a scandal-plagued troll who supports policies that are actively hurting Georgians.
Collins emerged victorious after a messy, contentious run-off in which his opponents seized every opportunity to air out Collins’ dirty laundry. Derek Dooley repeatedly took Collins to town over his ongoing House Ethics Committee investigation, frequently calling him a “typical DC politician” and accusing him of abusing taxpayer money. Dooley also attacked Collins’ trucking business and slammed Collins over his extremist, problematic staffers. Dooley frequently claimed that “a vote for Mike Collins is a vote for Jon Ossoff.”
“Mike Collins, the best candidate the Georgia GOP had to offer, is a chronically online internet troll who is currently the subject of an Ethics Committee investigation,” said American Bridge 21st Century Spokesperson Gus Nathanson. “He has a history of political extremism and supporting policies that have wrecked Georgia’s economy. Georgians can and will do better this November.”
