Tonight, Stephanie Bice became the Republican nominee for OK-05. Good for her.
Not so good for her — her record is a disaster.
“Stephanie Bice’s last uncompetitive election of her lifetime was tonight,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke. “With skyrocketing prices, plummeting access to affordable healthcare, and new wars we were promised wouldn’t happen, Republicans like Stephanie Bice are in danger of losing their once-cushy seats. She’s an out-of-touch political hack who has done nothing but break her promises and make life for Oklahomans more unaffordable.”
As a reminder, Stephanie Bice:
- Voted in favor of tariffs that have devastated Oklahoma farmers and families.
- Supported repealing the Affordable Care Act and has voted against every bill that would lower prescription drug prices, including the $35 insulin cap and Medicare drug price negotiation.
- Voted for the “One Big Beautiful Bill” that could strip Medicaid from 174,000 Oklahomans and SNAP benefits from 131,000 more, while delivering over $50,000 a year in tax cuts to the top 1%
- Refused to hold in-person town halls with her constituents, even after constituents requested it.
- Voted against the infrastructure law that sent $6.4 billion to Oklahoma — after earmarking $20 million in the same bill.
- Voted to overturn the 2020 election.
- Violated the STOCK Act.
