Trump Campaign Brags About Suppressing Black Voters

In a move sure to excite Donald Trump’s white nationalist supporters, the racist birther’s presidential campaign is instituting a voter suppression operation targeting women and African Americans. The Republican Party has sought to restrict African Americans’ right to vote for years. (Case in point: the recent North Carolina voter ID law that was struck down on the grounds that it sought to target and disenfranchise black voters.)

But now, in tandem with Trump’s work to question the integrity of the democratic process, Trump’s campaign is actually bragging about their voter suppression efforts:

Instead of expanding the electorate, Bannon and his team are trying to shrink it. “We have three major voter suppression operations under way,” says a senior official. They’re aimed at three groups Clinton needs to win overwhelmingly: idealistic white liberals, young women, and African Americans.
