Today, American Bridge 21st Century announced that Alexandra De Luca will be the organization’s new Vice President of Strategic Communications. Tiffiany Vaughn Jones will be the new Senior Director of Strategic Communications and National Press. These two seasoned Democratic strategists, both of whom have served major roles in early presidential primary states, will be at the helm of American Bridge’s efforts to hold Republicans accountable in 2023 and 2024.
“Alexandra and Tiffiany are two of the most talented communications professionals in the business,” said Pat Dennis, president of American Bridge 21st Century. “Thanks to their leadership we were able to make an extraordinary impact in 2022, and we’re excited to keep up the momentum to take down Republicans in 2023 and 2024.”
Alexandra De Luca is the Vice President of Strategic Communications at American Bridge 21st Century. She previously served as the Director of State and Gubernatorial Communications at American Bridge during the 2022 cycle, in which a record level of opposition research was successfully placed against Republican candidates at the state level. A veteran of Democratic campaigns and organizations, prior to her work at American Bridge De Luca was the communications director for Barbara Bollier’s 2020 U.S. Senate race, the South Carolina communications director for Cory Booker’s presidential race, and EMILY’s List’s national press secretary.
Communications and media strategist Tiffiany Vaughn Jones previously served as American Bridge’s National Press Secretary. She offers over 14 years of experience in communications and has experience in electoral, policy, and advocacy campaigns. Vaughn Jones served as the press secretary for President Joe Biden in Pennsylvania, directed Tom Steyer’s South Carolina communications team during the 2020 cycle, and is a 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign alum. A key player in presidential campaign communication strategies, Vaughn Jones has led the nationwide rollout of progressive policy proposals earning widespread media attention.
