Tomorrow, Republicans will shut down Congress to hold a transparently political vote to impeach Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas. Yet again, Republicans are kowtowing to Donald Trump while doing absolutely nothing to work with Democrats and secure the border.
To mark this sham vote, American Bridge 21st Century released a five-figure digital ad buy in 18 swing congressional districts highlighting Donald Trump and his MAGA allies’ stunt.
“We have seen how much MAGA Republican attacks on democracy, voting rights, and reproductive freedoms have hurt the American people. But they’ve also crippled the GOP, because these attacks are deeply unpopular” said Bradley Beychok, co-founder of American Bridge 21st Century. “As Trump-worshiping House members once again embarrass themselves by taking up a political witch hunt against the Biden Administration, Americans are paying attention. They know the only way to stop the madness is re-electing Joe Biden and Democrats up and down the ballot in November.”
The ad is running in congressional districts AZ-01 (Schweikert), AZ-06 (Ciscomani), CA-13 (Duarte), CA-22 (Valadao), CA-27 (Garcia), CA-40 (Kim), CA-45 (Steel), NE-02 (Bacon), NJ-07 (Kean), NY-01 (LaLota), NY-03 (VACANT, formerly Santos), NY-04 (D’Esposito), NY-17 (Lawler), NY-19 (Molinaro), NY-22 (Williams), OR-05 (Chavez- DeRemer), PA-01 (Fitzpatrick) and VA-02 (Kiggans).
