American Bridge 21st Century released the following statement on Don Bolduc winning the New Hampshire Republican U.S. Senate primary despite Mitch McConnell and the GOP establishment’s wishes:
“When he isn’t pushing conspiracy theories, Don Bolduc is campaigning on cutting Social Security and Medicare, attacking people’s reproductive rights, and abolishing the FBI. It’s clear Don Bolduc couldn’t be more wrong for the people of New Hampshire, which is why voters will reject him come November,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Sarah Abel.
During the course of his primary campaign, “top Republicans fear[ed] a Bolduc win would all but eliminate their chances to win a state they once viewed as ripe for the flipping.”

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu said Bolduc is “not a serious candidate, he’s really not, and if he were the GOP nominee I have no doubt we would have a much harder time.”

Texas Senator John Cornyn called Bolduc “not our best nominee” and “it would be a shame to nominate somebody who can’t win in the general election, I’m afraid that would be the case for the leading candidate right now.”
