American Bridge Releases Research on Trump’s Orbit — Now With Conspiracy Theorist Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Sep 16, 2024

As the largest Democratic opposition research organization in the country, American Bridge 21st Century took the lead earlier this year on examining the extremists set to fill major roles in Trump’s next administration. Since May, the American Bridge website has featured “Trump’s Orbit,” an ongoing research project highlighting the extreme views of people in Trump’s ear who will likely shape the administration if he returns to the White House in 2025.

Today, new open-source research highlighting the disturbing world and extreme record of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was made available on the Trump’s Orbit website.

RFK Jr. has made a fortune off of dangerous and debunked conspiracy theories that encourage parents not to vaccinate their children. His harmful conspiracies helped lead to a measles outbreak in Samoa that killed 83 people, mostly children. RFK Jr. pushed antisemitic and racist conspiracy theories about COVID.

RFK Jr. spread homophobic conspiracy theories about the cause of AIDS and endorsed theories that pesticides made people trans and that antidepressants caused school shootings.

American Bridge’s deep research, available for download from the Trump’s Orbit website, includes everything from RFK Jr.’s long history of mistreating women to his dangerous conspiratorial beliefs. RFK Jr.’s extreme record shows why he was welcomed by Donald Trump and MAGA sycophants.

The new research comes as reports show extreme, fringe conspiracy theorists like Laura Loomer are gaining more influence in Trump’s campaign.

Trump’s allies, including Donald Trump Jr., are angling for RFK Jr. to get a cabinet post, potentially the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services secretary.

“From the outset of his delusional campaign for president, RFK Jr. was an obvious plant for Donald Trump,” American Bridge 21st Century Communications Director of Presidential Campaigns Brandon Weathersby. “Just because he quit the race doesn’t mean we will stop letting voters know exactly how bizarre and dangerous this man is. He didn’t belong on a ballot and surely doesn’t belong anywhere near the White House.”
