Tonight, Trump takes the stage to support fellow anti-reproduction rights extremist, and candidate for U.S. Senate in Ohio, Bernie Moreno. Trump and Moreno represent the frontlines of the anti-abortion extremist movement across the nation.
Trump routinely brags about appointing the three Supreme Court justices who helped overturn Roe v. Wade two years ago. Recently, Moreno refused to answer a simple question regarding abortion access in Ohio, claiming it was a “media Democrat talking point.” Moreno also told Ohioans he would vote for a 15-week national abortion ban. Moreno went on to say that states could pass even more restrictive bans on top of that.
“Bernie Moreno and Donald Trump are in lockstep in their mission to ban Americans from accessing reproductive health care,” said Alexandra De Luca, vice president of communications for American Bridge 21st Century. “Women don’t want to be sent back to the kitchen — they want opportunities to make their own choices for themselves and for their families. Moreno is going to learn that tying himself to a philanderous liar like Donald Trump is not a winning strategy.”
