New audio uncovered by Heartland Signal revealed more insight into JD Vance’s misogynist ideology.
During an interview on the Portal podcast in 2020, JD Vance agreed with host Eric Weinstein, who said having grandmothers help raise children is “the whole purpose of the postmenopausal female.”
Weinstein then asks Vance if his mother-in-law helped raise his child. Vance says that his mother-in-law moved in and took a year-long sabbatical from her job as a professor to raise his children. The host interjects and says a “weird, unadvertised feature of marrying an Indian woman” is free childcare from her mother – and Vance agrees once again.
“Vance’s disgusting childless cat lady comments were just the tip of the iceberg of his misogynist ideology that only values women who have children or devote all their time solely to caring for children,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Brandon Weathersby. “This was never about promoting successful families. It was always about sneaking in the Project 2025 agenda through the backdoor of the White House so Vance and other anti-abortion zealots could control women’s bodies and restrict their role solely to domestic life.”
