Senator Kelly Ayotte’s poor record on gun safety has her in hot water again.
A newly released poll by Public Policy Polling shows that 83 percent of Granite State voters support common sense gun safety laws including background checks and preventing potential terrorists from purchasing guns. But Senator Kelly Ayotte has voted against both of those measures.
Senator Ayotte has already tried to deceive voters about her record, claiming she supports improving background checks and tweeting that she wanted to stop people on the No Fly List from buying guns. But her actions speak louder than her empty words.
Ayotte has voted twice against background checks and refused to take action to prevent people on the terrorist watch list from getting guns.
Kelly Ayotte cares more about voting with Washington Republicans than representing New Hampshire.
