Recent coverage of Colorado Republican U.S. Senate Nominee Joe O’Dea shows that his claims of being a moderate and an outsider to his party are simply political posturing that have no standing in reality. O’Dea has campaigned with election conspiracy theorists and rape apologists. He is a climate science denier who recently suggested that women’s rights requires “balance.”
It is clear that O’Dea is not the “independent-minded” candidate he portrays himself to be. He is just as extreme as the rest of his party. Coloradans see through this and recognize that he is not aligned with their views.
