American Bridge spokesperson Joshua Karp released the following statement regarding Senator Dean Heller and President Trump’s State of the Union Speech earlier tonight:
“What the President has failed to do since day one is outline a real plan to protect Dreamers. Tonight’s speech was more of the same double-talk and chaos that’ll surely be contradicted by an early morning Twitter tantrum in the coming days. This isn’t going to cut it, yet Dean Heller continues to stand by while the Administration and Congress allow Nevada families to be ripped apart. Nevadans won’t soon forget Heller’s spineless silence. Heller needs to act — or he’ll learn how wrong he is the hard way, come November.”
