- Pouring at least $750,000 into a campaign to end teacher tenure protections in Missouri, and additionally giving millions into the Show-Me Institute, a conservative think tank that advocates school privatization and sponsors research attacking public schools and teachers.
Meanwhile, Trump and DeVos’ education budget proposal is a full-on attack on America’s public schools that slashes $10.6 billion in federal education funding, including “hundreds of millions of dollars that public schools could use for mental health, advanced coursework.”
