As the Arizona Republic reported yesterday, Biggs is going around floating a conspiracy theory that FBI agents helped to instigate violence during the Jan. 6 insurrection
In case you missed it, the Arizona Republic yesterday reported that U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs is “boosting a conspiracy theory spreading in conservative circles that the FBI may have helped instigate the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.”
It’s not the first time that Biggs has recklessly spread a conspiracy theory. And Arizona Republicans are famous for going radio silent when one of their own does things like, say, headlining a white nationalist conference (that’s right, we’re talking Paul Gosar, here).
Still, Biggs’ latest conspiracy theory mongering does raise some pretty important questions like…
Do Arizona Republican U.S. Senate candidates like Mick McGuire, Mark Brnovich, and Jim Lamon really agree with Andy Biggs that the FBI was responsible for inciting violence at the January 6 insurrection?
Read the report and listen to Biggs’ comments here.
