Juan Ciscomani promised to go to Washington to lower costs for everyday families. Instead, he’s supporting Trump’s unpopular economic policies that will have devastating consequences for families and working people. From the cost of living to the quality of roads, clean water, and even the availability of food, Republicans are making life harder for the very people they claim to support.
In Arizona’s 6th District, Juan Ciscomani voted to strip funding away from road repairs and wastewater projects. Instead of saving them money, for everyday Arizonans this means longer commutes, more potholes, and higher costs out of their own pockets to repair damaged cars. The American Society of Civil Engineers found that driving on poorly maintained roads cost Arizona drivers about $576 per year.
“Juan Ciscomani says he stands for the American Dream, but with every attack on basic necessities, he makes life harder for working people and families,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Nico Delgado. “From higher costs for car repairs to unsafe roads, food insecurity, and decaying infrastructure, Republicans are proving that their promises to lower costs are just empty words. When voters get to the ballot box next year, they’re going to remember.”
