Part of what makes this proposal, and all of the proposals from the Biden White House, so powerful is that that is what the American people want and expect,” said American Bridge 21st Century President Jessica Floyd. “You’ve seen a Republican Party that over the last few years have been constantly avoiding the necessary policy changes that would benefit their own constituents and instead really leaning into tax proposals that only further disparities in our economy, that only reward corporations for shipping jobs overseas and reward people who are not paying their fair share into the economy. ”
