Tonight, MAGA extremist Gabe Evans became the official Republican nominee for Colorado’s 8th congressional district.
“When people tell you who they are, we should listen — and Gabe Evans has told us over and over again who he is,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke. “Gabe Evans is an anti-choice extremist who will be nothing but a pawn to push Donald Trump’s MAGA agenda in Congress. Colorodans can’t trust him to protect their right to choose or their access to affordable health care.”
Gabe Evans is wrong for Colorado, and here’s why:
- He said he was “100% pro-life” and answered in a survey that he opposed abortion even in cases of rape and incest.
- He praised the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and voted against supporting funding for family planning services and contraception.
- He refuses to answer questions about whether he’d vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
- He supports Trump’s racist “Remain in Mexico” policy and his border wall plan.
- He equated the deadly January 6th insurrection to civil rights protests.
- He still refuses to definitively say whether he believes the 2020 election was stolen from Trump or not.
