Tonight, Mike Clancy secured the nomination in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District — and he is going to have a serious problem in the general election explaining his anti-abortion, ultra-Trumpy, pro-billionaire agenda.
“Mike Clancy spent the primary flexing his right-wing credentials, and now he’ll have to explain to voters why he wants to take away their reproductive freedoms and is prioritizing tax cuts for billionaires,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Philip Shulman. “Instead of addressing Virginians’ needs, we know Mike Clancy will prioritize an agenda that is completely out of step with Virginians’ needs.”
