Carpetbagger Sam Brown lost the Nevada Senate race, underscoring voters’ rejection of his extreme anti-abortion views. Throughout his whisper of a campaign, Brown largely avoided tough questions from reporters and skipped campaign events for out-of-state crypto conferences – choices that likely contributed to his resounding loss. His reluctance to engage with voters and his toxic stances on issues like abortion and Yucca Mountain revealed a troubling disconnect from the values of the majority of Nevadans.
“Sam Brown’s defeat is hardly shocking — just like in his interviews, he had zero substantive answers on abortion throughout his campaign,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Nico Delgado. “He thought he could make Nevadans forget about his abysmal record on abortion, but voters saw right through his desperate attempts to dodge accountability. Nevadans deserve better than a washed-up Texas candidate who can’t even own his past, and tonight, they delivered that message loud and clear.”
