Today, Bridge Project launched a digital ad campaign targeting two GOP Senate candidates — West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey and Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley — for their roles as co-counsels in a lawsuit brought by state Attorneys General against the Affordable Care Act. The lawsuit seeks in part to overturn protections for Americans with pre-existing conditions — which would allow insurance companies to strip healthcare coverage from 700,000 West Virginians and 2.5 million Missourians.
The ad is part of a national digital ad campaign that started running on social media this week in Nevada, Tennessee, Ohio, Missouri, and West Virginia.
“Patrick Morrisey and Josh Hawley’s starring roles in this lawsuit are proof positive that they aren’t working for you — they’re working for themselves and their big pharma backers. You can guarantee Democrats will hold Morrisey and Hawley accountable for their cruelty every day through November,” said American Bridge spokesperson Amelia Penniman.

Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is suing to strip healthcare from 700,000 West Virginians with pre-existing conditions.
Morrisey would let insurance companies deny coverage to people living with diabetes or cancer.
Putting his political agenda first. Leaving us with no options.
We can’t trust Patrick Morrisey to protect West Virginians’ healthcare.
