Derrick Anderson (VA-07) lost his election bid for Congress. In response, American Bridge spokesperson Philip Shulman released the following statement:
“It’s hard to say if Derrick Anderson’s lie that he lived in the district or his ‘pretending to have a family’ tactic was more destructive to his campaign and contributed to his loss tonight. But it certainly didn’t help that he also pushed a dangerous anti-abortion rights and anti-democracy agenda. American Bridge is proud to have played a role in helping defeat this GOP congressman and giving Virginia’s seventh congressional district the representative they deserve.”
