<blockquote><p>Shauna Daly, the respected former research director for the Democratic National Committee, and deputy research director on Senator Barack Obama's 2008 campaign, has been hired as research director and senior adviser at American Bridge 21st Century, one of a handful of new Democratic outside groups.</p><p>The move cements American Bridge's status as an opposition research hub for the network of groups, which also include the White House-linked Priorities USA and the Senate-tied Majority PAC.</p><p>“Shauna is a giant in the world of research. I’m absolutely thrilled she is joining our team and I can’t wait to watch her get to work building the biggest, fastest, hardest-hitting research and tracking shop in politics," said Rodell Mollineau, the president of American Bridge, whose name is meant as a play on that of a Republican groups that played a large role last cycle, American Crossroads.</p></blockquote>
