In an interview with NBC 6 in Miami yesterday, Gov. Rick Scott refused to answer whether he would welcome his close political ally and personal friend President Trump to campaign with him.
“Rick Scott endorsed Trump ahead of the Florida primary, has been advising the Trump administration on how to take away Floridians’ health care, and even started a super-PAC to support Trump’s agenda. Now that he’s running for U.S. Senate, just like a typical career politician Rick Scott is refusing to answer whether he’d welcome his ally’s political support. Yet again, Rick Scott makes the case for why Floridians just cannot trust him,” said American Bridge spokesperson Joshua Karp.
