Tonight, Robert Kennedy Jr. and his vice presidential running mate, Nicole Shanahan, are holding a virtual event for a discussion on artificial intelligence moderated by Ian Carroll, an antisemitic conspiracy theorist who has espoused a wide-ranging anti-Jewish conspiracy that included 9/11, Jeffrey Epstein, and the idea that Jewish people are controlling the U.S. government.
Carroll has used plainly antisemitic language as well as conspiratorial codewords to paint Jewish people as greedy and disloyal. He has pushed a conspiracy theory that Jewish people pushed the United States into both world wars and “conspired, bartered, and sold, for a price, the sovereignty of the United States of America.”
In a podcast interview, Carroll said the Rothschild family – a Jewish family that for years has been accused by antisemites, including Hitler, of nefariously controlling the world’s financial systems – , was “working with the CIA to smuggle drugs during the Vietnam era.” He posted on Twitter that America “is controlled by an international criminal organization that grew out of the Jewish mob and now hides in modern Zionism behind cries of ‘antisemitism.’”
Carroll tweeted a video called “Evidence of the Zionist Mafia” with a graphic featuring George Soros, Jeffrey Epstein, Benjamin Netanyahu, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Joe Biden.
Carroll said Epstein’s victims were part of a Jewish breeding program and that Epstein ran “breeding centers where they were breeding based upon Ashkenazi heritage.”
During a livestream event in May, Carroll said the federal government was under Jewish control, and accused several government officials of being anti-American solely because of their Jewish ethnicity, including DNI Director Avril Hanes, CIA Deputy Director David S. Cohen, White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.
Carroll claimed there was a Jewish conspiracy to regulate TikTok and that Israel had connections to 9/11 because the country is “over there by all the Arab nations.” He also claimed that Israel promoted “fake reporting” about Hamas’ October 7th attack.
Carroll’s connections to the Kennedy Jr. campaign go back to at least June of this year when Carroll premiered a pre-recorded interview with Nicole Shanahan. Carroll even said the campaign paid for his flights and hotel involved with recording the interview.
Today’s event with Carroll comes on the heels of Shanahan hosting an event earlier this month featuring Mike Benz, who was outed last year for using a pseudonym to post white nationalist content online.
As Frame Game, Benz espoused antisemitic views that questioned the scope and brutality of the Holocaust and cast doubt on the legacies of Anne Frank and Elie Wiesel.
