Putting partisan politics ahead of getting things done for Wisconsinites, Ron Johnson is indicating he’ll vote to block debate on a bipartisan infrastructure package that would create jobs and invest in communities across Wisconsin and the country:
Johnson’s opposition today fulfills his pledge from last month to “do what I [can] to frustrate” a bipartisan compromise on infrastructure — an effort that had Johnson rallying fellow Republicans to oppose a bipartisan deal, according to Politico, including by aggressively attacking GOP colleagues who worked toward this compromise.
“Once again, Ron Johnson is letting partisanship get in the way of job creation and getting things done for Wisconsin families. It’s time for him to go,” said Brad Bainum, American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson.
