With nearly 100 days remaining until Election Day, American Bridge 21st Century is closely monitoring the increasingly alarming rhetoric and actions of Republican Senate candidates in key battleground states.
As this lackluster slate of candidates continues to reveal their extreme positions—from their carpetbagging antics to their radical calls for banning abortion, and their unabashed allegiance to the MAGA agenda—American Bridge 21st Century will be at the forefront, exposing why these candidates are toxic.
Here’s a recap from this last week:
Arizona
- Kari Lake encouraged hairdressers and barbers to intimidate voters: “You’ve got a weapon in your hand, you’re cutting their hair, you’re really close to their ear, and you have the ability to talk politics. So use that.”
- Kari Lake appeared in a resurfaced promo video supporting Project 2025.
- Kari Lake is one of the Republicans this week who has been showcasing their cringe-worthy racism and attacked President Biden’s Cabinet saying: “they’re all DEI hires, people who don’t know what they’re doing.”
Michigan
- Mike Rogers reminded voters he would continue to support Trump’s tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy with this zinger: “There’s no tax cut I don’t like,”
Nevada
- Sam Brown, who continues to beg for Donald Trump’s approval instead of Nevada voters, ditched a rural campaign event last minute to fly out of state for a conference on Bitcoin where Trump was present.
New Mexico
- Nella Domenici skipped out on an interview with a popular radio show in New Mexico because she didn’t want to have to answer questions about Trump, the January 6th insurrection, or the 2020 election.
Montana
- Tim Sheehy supports the Montana GOP’s platform, which calls for a “complete ban” on abortion with no exceptions.
Ohio
- Bernie Moreno continues to remind voters that he’s an anti-abortion extremist and said that abortion should be federally regulated like alcohol.
- Just last week, Bernie Moreno attacked Democrats for “extreme rhetoric,” but he must’ve forgotten he said that because this week he attacked Vice President Kamala Harris and she was “objectively a lunatic.”
Pennsylvania
- Dave McCormick doubled down on his past investments in China’s largest producer of fentanyl when he was the CEO of Bridgewater: “As the CEO of a large investment firm, we invested 3% of our — it was a global firm — 3% of our portfolio in China,”
Wisconsin
- Eric Hovde’s hypocrisy was on full display at the RNC when he called for Americans to come together while ruthlessly attacking Democrats and journalists.
