Federal grant applications for Maine’s domestic violence resource centers are currently unavailable, putting vital programs at risk of halting due to funding uncertainty.
Meanwhile, at the Togus VA facility, the firing of seven employees, including five veterans, has sparked outrage. Maine farmers are also bearing the brunt of Republican cuts, with many struggling to stay afloat amid reduced support.
