Republican Congressman Tom Kean Jr. (NJ-07) has backed the GOP’s budget resolution, a measure that could result in millions of Americans losing access to health care and groceries. This decision comes at the expense of critical support for working families, all to give a massive tax break to billionaires.

Approximately 44,000 (7%) of Kean’s constituents in New Jersey’s 7th District are on Medicaid or CHIP, and nearly 11,000 people in the district have used SNAP.
Before voting to slash Medicaid, Kean previously voted for a Republican package that could have taken Medicaid coverage away from nearly two million Americans.
