American Bridge Vice President Shripal Shah released the following statement on Donald Trump meeting today with health insurance CEOs:
“Donald Trump wants to bring us back to the time when health insurance CEOs and Wall Street made as much money as they could off of people being sick. Colluding with insurance CEOs in the White House to rip away health care from 20 million Americans and give power back to the health insurance industry is a looming disaster for patients whose only lifeline is the Affordable Care Act. Trump and Republicans should work with Democrats to improve the ACA, not repeal it so they can give tax breaks to billionaires.”
