On Tuesday, Donald Trump adviser Al Baldasaro, suggested that Hillary Clinton deserves to “be put in the firing line and shot for treason,” according to BuzzFeed News.
Funny story: Baldasaro isn’t just a Trump campaign adviser, he’s also Trump’s “favorite vet” — or at least that what Trump claimed back in November.
Unbelievably, Baldasaro, a New Hampshire state representative, isn’t the only Republican elected official to call for Clinton’s execution in the past week. There have been at least two others in the last six days alone:
- Friday, July 15: West Virginia Delegate Michael Folk: Clinton “should be tried for treason, murder, and crimes against the US Constitution… then hung on the Mall in Washington, DC.”
- Monday, July 18: Licking County (NJ) Commissioner Duane Flowers: “Hillary, she should be hanging from a tree.”
Donald Trump hopes to preach a message of making America “One Again” tomorrow, but it’s his divisive and inflammatory rhetoric that’s inspired the despicable death threats that Republicans — including one of Trump’s own campaign advisers — continue to level at the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee.
