The political backlash against Indiana Governor Mike Pence’s “Religious Freedom” law has been swift and devastating as thousands of Hoosiers have protested the law and major corporations both in and outside of Indiana have begun to sever business ties with the state.
Pence himself has repeatedly failed to explain why he’s choosing to legalize discrimination against LGBT persons, and his political problems are only going to grow as he stands on the wrong side of history.
