Following this week’s presidential debate, in which Donald Trump doubled down on his dangerous, anti-abortion and anti-reproductive rights rhetoric, the largest opposition research and tracking organization in the Democratic Party, American Bridge 21st Century, launched a new wave of ads in the key battleground states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
The $15 million ad buy, which will debut this week on TV, radio, and digital, is a part of their $140 million paid media program to defeat Donald Trump.
This campaign will focus on the stories of real voters in these three key states and, as we saw in this week’s debate, how Donald Trump and his Project 2025 plans to ban abortion nationwide and restrict contraception would impact their communities. They highlight the contrast between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris— the candidate who threatened to punish women for having abortions and the candidate who will protect Americans’ right to abortion access and reproductive health care.
“American Bridge’s program to defeat Donald Trump has always been about three things: abortion, democracy, and freedom. Today, voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin will continue to hear from women in their own communities about how devastating another Donald Trump administration would be for anyone who values their rights, their freedoms, and our democracy,” said Bradley Beychok, co-founder of American Bridge 21st Century. “Voters in the Blue Wall states, especially women, will make or break this election. That’s why American Bridge is putting their true stories about Trump’s threats to reproductive rights at the forefront of our paid media program, and why we’re fighting to make sure that voters know how much is at stake this November.”
